The West Trenton Garden Club is over 70 years young! Our hope is to encourage community involvement, youth sponsorship and gardening ideas. Of course, all of this, while having fun!
Our club meets at the Hollowbrook Community Center, 320 Hollowbrook Drive, Ewing Township, NJ 08638. Most meetings start at 6:30PM on the first Monday of the month (there are no meetings in January or July). The September meeting is held on the second Monday. The December meeting is a holiday party held at a local restaurant (which starts at 6PM) and the June meeting is an Installation Celebration (which also starts at 6PM). Both the December and June meetings/events are open to MEMBERS ONLY. (The West Trenton Garden Club, Inc. is not affiliated with any religious organizations.)
Our club is very active, some of our projects include: Arbor Day Tree-Give-Away, Awards & Scholarships, Trenton Psychiatric Center Donations, Various Workshops, Monthly Meeting Programs, Maintaining and Improving the Birmingham Mini-Park in Ewing, Random Acts of Beauty Awards, Decorating Drumthwacket for the Holidays, Morven Tree Decorating, Garden Therapy and Flowers for the Ewing Library.
